Body Memory - Anim'est proposal for Cartoon D'Or 2012

The sixth edition of the Anim’est International Animation Film Festival officially closed on Saturday evening, October 15 at Patria Cinema. At the end of the Closing Gala, scheduled at 19:00, the Anim'est Trophy, offered by the Romanian Cultural Institute, went to Estonia: Body Memory (d. Ulo Pikkov, Estonia, 2011) is the Anim'est’s proposal for Cartoon d'Or 2012, being the first year the festival submits a proposal for nomination to the most prestigious award dedicated to European short film animation.

Anim’est thrilled the Chişinău audience

The Special Edition of the Anim’est International Animation Film Festival in Chişinău came to a close on Sunday, November 6th. The Festival’s Executive Director, Vlad Ilicevici, brought ahead of the audience, at the last projection, the news that starting with 2012, Animation Worksheep, the film workshop, organized by Anim’est in April, will be open to young animators in The Republic Of Moldova.

The Best 2011 Anim’est Films will be screened at Chișinău

The awarded movies at the Sixth Anim’est International Animation Film Festival will be projected at Chişinău, within a special edition held in Bucharest from 3 to 6 November 2011, at the Odeon Cinema. Serious, deep, thematically surprising, technical or visual movies, all being remarkable achievements of the contemporary animation films, will run in the Best of Anim’est 2011 program.
