A history of Romanian animated film, from its beginnings until the year 1990.

“This film is a trip though the history of Romanian animated film. It obvisously is a journey back in time, but also a trip to the present time, with the help of old films, for today’s viewers. It is a film about history, a story told to the most demanding of all audiences, the children. Since we always need a guide for such an adventure, we have created two of them: the painter/storyteller Horatiu and his partner Virus, who had escaped from the computer. Our trip starts with the oldest Romanian animation presented, Haplea by Marin Iorda, a film made in 1927.” (Radu Vasile Igazsag)
