True to its innovative nature, animation in a very organic way explored and experimented with subjects impossible to present by other genres. That’s why, it is such a perfect medium to talk about all shades of pleasure. Balancing between sounds, vision and unlimited imagination, animators can free dive into the complex universe of human sexuality.

Kaboom Animation Festival (Amsterdam, Utrecht) taking place every year in March, is one-stop-shop for the latest and greatest in all things animated. Ranging from cutting-edge experimental arthouse to colorful, light narrative stories.

The festival mission is to celebrate animation with creators, scientists, professionals, students, experts, and beginners. Everyone can feel at home at Kaboom Animation Festival. In the program we feature animators such as Joanna Queen; and Monique Renault presents role-defying confident female characters who are not afraid of their sexuality. There are also tender animations that provide an insight into intimate moments, such as Pussy and Futon; or with a humorous historical background, such as Clitoris. For the fans of more experimental animation, we added the work of amazing Sasha Svirsky. We wish you an evening full of pleasure!
