Balkanimation Competition -Thursday, on the big screen

From 20:00 at Union Cinema, 11 short films can be seen struggling this year to win the Best Film in Balkanimation Section Award offered by Canyon.

The one who is representing Romania in the best Balkan short films competition is Scream, by the animator Sebastian Cosor, a MediaPro Magic production. Some other titles in the competition: Büyüteç / The Magnifier, the story of a magnifying glass trying to enjoy a sunny day out in the park without being aware of its physical and destructive effect it can have on others while interacting with sunlight, Farat / The Lighthouse, inspired by the poem "The Lighthouse Keeper Loves Birds Too Much" by Jacques Prevert, Hansel and Gretel: the True Story, a dark and fascinating version of the famous Grimm brothers stories.
