BANDA ASAP Comics Exhibition

The ASAP BAND exhibition takes place 7-13 October, at Amzei Creative Corner (Str. Piața Amzei nr. 13). In partnership with Animest and with the support of Lidl Romania, the exhibition celebrates the creativity and commitment of young people for a more sustainable future, and brings to the fore the talent and passion of the students who have taken part in the previous editions of the comics contest on recycling.

The ASAP BAND exhibits a vibrant collection of comics that invite us to see the world as children do. The more than 180 works on display witness the creativity and commitment of young people to a more sustainable future. Through comics, students present unexpected solutions to solve the problem of waste, especially recyclable waste, and to promote environmental education in their communities. Every drawing, every story reminds us that the next generations are aware of the importance of protecting the environment and are ready to act.

 

Fanzine “ASAP 3000”

As part of the exhibition, ASAP will also launch a fanzine on environmental topics, a comics magazine designed and written by Gavrilă&Asociații, and illustrated by Andrei Roman and Larisa Ticușan (Smash Studio). The magazine will be distributed during the exhibition and in ASAP partner schools in Bucharest.

Creative workshops for future artists

During the weekend, the exhibition will be accompanied by two interactive workshops, for 7-12-old children. With prior registration via Animest, these workshops will give young artists the opportunity to develop their creativity and learn about the importance of recycling in a fun and interactive way.

The event is open to the general public and is part of the Animest 2024 program. We invite you to visit us at Amzei Creative Corner (Str. Piața Amzei nr. 13), between 12:00 and 20:00. Free entrance.

 

The opening of the exhibition is scheduled for October 7, at 17:00.
