VOID International Animation Film Festival is the most audacious animation film festival taking place in Copenhagen, Denmark. Its purpose is to celebrate animation in all its forms by creating and promoting a space where storytellers connect with a broader audience.

The selection for Dark North is based on the northern countries: Canada, Denmark and Norway. Maybe it is the sparse sunshine throughout the year or the low temperatures in these parts of the world that make the animation just a little darker than usual. VOID International Animation Film Festival presents these seven titles that represent different types of darkness - the sad, the melancholic, the weird and the mysterious.
