Dead Weight

Three men, on their way in a descending balloon over an icy sea, must get rid of weight. After a vote, the two men throw the third man out of the basket to reduce weight, intent on saving their lives. The victim, initially strongly opposed to the solution, clings to a long line below the balloon. He refuses to let go.
