Fresh Frames: animations produced by teenagers

Fresh Frames, true to its name, is Animest's newest section, featuring animated films created by teenagers from Romania and the Republic of Moldova. A collaborative effort between Animest and The Animation Incubator, this section highlights the fresh voices and perspectives of a new generation of animators, ready to establish the new wave of Romanian animation. The Animation Incubator, Animest's project dedicated to teenagers, is a diverse and inclusive community, an animation school, studio, and research lab, all designed to nurture and support young talent. The films in Fresh Frames have been selected by the Teen Jury from the previous Animest edition. This section primarily features animations created during a variety of online and offline workshops hosted by The Animation Incubator. It includes both collaborative and independent productions by members of the community.
