Guest Festival: Tricky Women/ Tricky Realities

TRICKY WOMEN/ TRICKY REALITIES focuses on animated films made by women* and therefore fills a unique position within the international festival landscape.

It is no coincidence that the festival is held every March around the date of International Women's Day. We present films that open up our eyes, make the invisible visible, communicate the unspeakable and help us understand unfamiliar points of view. It is our mission to make animated films by women from all over the world available to a broader audience.” (Waltraud Grausgruber, festival director)
