Hansel and Gretel

Once upon a time, there were two kids called Hansel and Gretel. Their parents left them in the woods to die. Hungry and tired, the kids found a refuge in a candy house. But the house belonged to a wicked witch, who ate all the children that would fall in her trap. However, the kids managed to push her in the oven, and thus escaped. This is the Brothers Grimm version of the story. But the true story of Hansel and Gretel is not a fairytale. It’s a nightmare.
