The Cabinet

A sand animation incorporating light cymatics, created entirely with analogue techniques. The film is both a visual and musical homage to the famous silent film "Das Kabinet des Dr. Caligari" by R. Wiene, 1920, in which "The Somnambulist" leaves the hypnotic state and turns into a scientist who discovers the wonders of Creation through the lens of a microscope.
