
Up - stirring up Minimest
The Minimest screenings- the section dedicated to children of ages between 4 and 14- continue Sunday, October 10th, with an event-feature film, in need of no presentations: Up, the winner of two Oscars, opening the third day of screenings at Patria Cinema, starting 10:30 a.m.
The third short film programme dedicated to children takes Minimest further, from 12:30 a.m.: 9 the films from Russia, Belgium, South Africa, Brazil, Georgia, Denmark and The UK will be entertaining both small ones and grown-ups in the presence of three Minimest Jury members, all of ages between 8 and 12: Runa Andreea Vasile, Denisa Traian, Catinca Matei, the three jury members who will be selecting one winner for the Special Minimest Award out of all the films in the section’s short film programme. After a first day of Minimest screening, the children will be welcomed for yet another day into a fairytale setting taking up the Patria Cinema lobby all throughout the first half of the day, generated by interactive tasks and the BluParty presentations, and supported with the Teora stand of books and magazines suitable for their age.
