Joan C. Gratz Conference

Friday, starting 19:00, Joan C. Gratz will hold a conference at the ArCuB Hall. Famous for the "claypainting '(painting on clay) animation technique, Joan C. Gratz won the Oscar in 1992 for the animated short film " Mona Lisa Descending a Staircase "(Mona Lisa coborând o scară), a series of images in which human faces features transform in order to deliver the graphic style and message of some twentieth century masterpieces, into a real animated art history.

This is the chance to project some of the director’s short films such as Pro and Con / Pro şi Contra, The Dowager's Idyll / Idila văduvei bogate, Puffer Girl / Domnişoara peşte-balon and Mona Lisa Descending a Staircase / Mona Lisa coborând o scară.
