Midori-Ko, Sunday, Union Cinema

Midori-Ko, the japanese animation film directed by Keita Kurosaka will be screened on Sunday, at the Union Cinema, from 2pm. In anticipation of the coming food crisis, five scientists are working to develop a “dream food”, called Midori-ko, one that is capable of replacing both meat and vegetables. But the progress they made in a laboratory downtown an abandoned shopping district, has reached a dead end, because Midori-ko has no intention of being eaten and instead flies away, escaping the lab.
