Titina - from sketch to screen, Marie-Laure Guisset & Sunniva Fluge Hole
Sunniva Fluge Hole is a character designer and illustrator from Norway, based in Oslo. She has worked as lead character designer on several film projects,among them Titina, a Mikrofilm production. She illustrated children's books and opening titles for films, and has been an animator of commercials and music videos.
Marie-Laure Guisset is a Belgian animator and animation director based in Brussels. She worked on various awards winnings projects like The Triplets of Belleville, The Secret of Kells, La mécanique du Coeur, Zombillenium, and the series The Smurfs. Most recently she was the animation director of the beautiful Norwegian movie Titina. Working on different formats and whatever the technique, she loves to bring life to the characters, create empathy, and above all tell stories.
A deep dive into "Titina", 2D Animated feature film from the Oslo based studio "Mikrofilm". While watching beautiful visuals - from early concept Art to final images, you will be taken along Titina's movie making process, from the first idea & sketch, to the big screen. With a special focus on Design, by Character designer Sunniva Fluge Hole and Animation, by Animation director Marie-Laure Guisset. They will talk about the challenges of making a 2D animated feature film in Europe, and share the magical moments that (working with) animation brings to you.
