A Town Called Panic at Cinema Union
Sunday, October 10th, on the third Anim’est day, from 8 pm, Union Cinema will be screening one of the most popular films at the biggest festivals, an event which animation fans must absolutely attend. Screened for the first time during the Semaine de la Critique at the Cannes Film Festival, A Town Called Panic (Belgium-France-Luxemburg, 2009) is an innovative feature film, made with lots of humour and unexpected twists, a prize possession in the Anim’est section dedicated to hit-titles, Mosaic.
The Cowboy and the Indian are masters of catastrophe, even if they are only made of plastic. Their wish is to throw their friend Cheval (Horse) an amazing anniversary, but, instead of a present, they end up giving him a wrecked house. The three set off on a trip to the centre of the world, and so their series of unbelievable adventures begins.
