"Car Fairytales" Animation Sets

Five complete tables of the Car Fairytales / Autopohádky, the puppets Czech feature film designed in the Mosaic section, will be exhibited at 3D Cinema Cafe inside Cinema Patria, throughout the festival.

Anim'est public will be able to see, live, the machines that play key roles in the film made ​​by five major animators-directors of the Czech Republic, on the sets used for the stop-motion film animation.

The exhibition will take place after the first screening of the Anim'est movie Autopohádky, Monday, October 10, at 20:30, in the presence of the director František Váša, whose feature film-making begins with this movie. He also supports the festival’s Animation Puppet Workshop.

The exhibition and workshops are supported by the Czech Centre.

Car Fairytales / Autopohádky is the screening of the homonymous book written by Jiři Marek. Four animated “car stories” tell magical relationships faiytales. Each story is the work of a different director and a group of authors. Therefore, we are dealing with a diversified show made ​​up of different parts. Thus came to life the story of a passionate writer, who is seeking the machines’ soul.
