The fifth film from Studio4°C – Steamboy

Steamboy (dir. Katshuhiro Ôtomo, 2004), a new film signed Studio4°C, the absolute masters of Japanese anime honoured this year’s by Anim’est with an event-section presented by Animax, is hitting Union Cinema on  Friday, October 15th, from 8 p.m. Steamboy is an animated Sci-fi only the Japanese can make, with an action placed shortly before the first ever World Expo, when a marvellous invention called the „Steam Ball”, sustained by a secret, menacing power, ends up at the door of an inventor named Rei, sent from his grandfather back in the U.S. But the evil Ohara Foundation has already sent its men to acquire the „Steam Ball”.
