Erik van Schaaik is bringing his latest film, Pecker, to Anim’est 2010

Tuesday, from 6 p.m., at Union Cinema, Dutch director Erik van Schaaik, winner of the 2009 Anim’est Trophy, is presenting his latest short film, Pecker, as well as The Phantom of the Cinema, the grand prize winning title at the fourth edition of Anim’est International Animation Film Festival, and a part of his favourite films, some of them having received a lot of love from the festival’s audience, like Lapsus, by Argentinean director Juan Pablo Zaramella, Audience Award winner at the 2007 Anim’est, or Chainsaw Maid (dir. Takena Nagao, Japan, 2009), one of the films the Anim’est viewers will also be able to enjoy at Creepy Animation Night 2.
