Mind Game - a history making anime, Monday at Scala

The challenging film Mind Game (dir. Masaaki Yuasa, Japan, 2004), screened Monday, from 7 pm, at Scala Cinema, is the story of Nishi, a loser with a crush on his childhood sweetheart. After an accidental and unfortunate encounter with the Japanese mafia, Nishi sets off on a journey towards Heaven and comes back to a place surpassing the limits of imagination. The event-feature film opening the retrospective dedicated to the biggest Asian animation studio, Studio 4°C, made history within the anime genre.
