Niko & The Way to the Stars on Day 8

The 8th Anim’est day will open, as usual, with the screening for children: the Minimest section is coming to Patria Cinema, from 11:30 a.m. with a film that is very special in spite of its few screen appearances: Niko & The Way to the Stars (dir. Michael Hegner, Kari Juusonen, Finland-Denmark-Germany-Ireland), illustrating the a adventures of a young reindeer afraid of heights. He slowly succeeds to overcome his fear by taking flyng lessons from a clumsy squirrel and head off for the North Pole to rescue Santa Claus and his flying reindeers.
