Oscar winning short films, awarded at the biggest film festivals – Saturday, in the Mosaic section

The screenings of the Mosaic short films begin this Saturday, October 9th, when the Anim’est audience will be able to chose their favourite one, and give it the Audience Award during the festival’s Closing Gala on Saturday, October 16th 2010. Short film fans will be spoiled with four programmes of successful titles from the international festival circuit, scheduled at Patria and Union Cinemas. (Mosaic 48 p.m.). The most awaited titles couldn’t have been missing from the day’s schedule: Esterhazy (dir. Izabela Plucinska, Poland), included in the Mosaic 2 programme, screened at Patria Cinema from 4:30 p.m.; Fard (dir: David Alapont, Luis Briceno, France), included in the Mosaic 1 section, scheduled at Union Cinema from 4 p.m.; the Audience Award winner and Best animated film winner at the most important short films festival in the world - Clermont-Ferrand; Angry Man (dir. Anita Killi, Norway), part of the Mosaic 3 programme, arriving at Union Cinema at 6 p.m.; or The House of Small Cubes, awarded the 2009 Oscar for Best animated short film, part of the Mosaic 4 programme, screened at Union Cinema from 8 pm.
