Regina Pessoa - a high end programme at Anim’est 2010

Portuguese director Regina Pessoa, member of the 2010 Anim'est jury, is coming Wednesday, from 6:30 p.m., at Patria Cinema, with a special programme made of her short films and those of another important contemporary Portuguese animator, her generation colleague, Abi Feijó.

Tragic Story With Happy Ending, the short film that brought Regina Pessoa the Grand Prize at the 2005 Annecy Festival (the most important animated film festival in the world) and a 2006 cartoon d’Or nomination, could not possibly be missing from such a stylistically diverse programme, along with other award winning titles like The Outlaws (1993), Abi Feijó’s hit short film granted Special Mentions at both Cartoon d’Or and Vila do Conde.
