The Cinematograph in the Short Film Competition

The fifth Short Film Competition programme will be screened Thursday, October 14th 2010, from 8:30 p.m., at Patria Cinema. The last competitive Short Film programme holds  some of the most awaited films by the Anim’est audience, such as The Cinematograph (dir. Tomek Baginski, Poland, 2009), winner of the Corto Cortissimo Award at the Venice Film Festival and of Best digital film at the Animago International Film Festival in Potsdam; Anna Blume (dir. Vessela Dantcheva, Germany-Bulgaria, 2009), Critics and Best Director Awards winner at the Plovdiv Documentary and Animated Film Festival or The man who slept (r. Inès Sedan, France, 2009), granted the Special SBS Television Prize at the Cannes Festival.
