The Studio 4C retrospective is almost over

Two films from the Studio 4C Retrospective, presented by Animax, are still being screened at Union Cinema: Genius Party Beyond (dir. Mahiro Maeda, Kôji Morimoto, Kazuto Nakazawa, Shinya Ohara and Tatsuyuki Tanaka, Japan, 2008), scheduled for 6 p.m., an omnibus-film, produced by genius filmmakers of various expertise in the field of visual arts: animation, illustration, comics, who all had the freedom to create an original film concentrated around a single topic: creativity. From 8 p.m., anime fans will get to attend the last screening of an anthological film produced by the Japanese at Studio 4C: Tekkonkinkreet (dir. Michael Arias, 2006, Japan). In The City of Treasures, Red and Black, two homeless brothers roam far and wide through the city as if it belonged to them. All of a sudden, an evil force makes them enter a terrible fight against mobsters and assassins.
