Opening of the Sixth Anim’est International Animation Film Festival

Friday, October 7, at 19:00, the official opening of the Sixth Anim’est International Animation Film Festival has gathered at Patria Cinema over 850 spectators and guests, who came to watch – a national premiere - the Romanian-Polish feature film Crulic - The Way Beyond. Before the projection, at the gala opening, the cinema audience can watch some short films made for the first edition of Animation Worksheep - animated film workshop organized by Anim'est alongside images illustrating the making of the two-week workshop in Bran. This was one of the most appreciated times of the Gala, the audience welcoming with prolonged handclaps the Worksheep learners and trainers on Patria Cinema’s stage. At the end of the Crulic - The Way Beyond projection, the romanian team went on stage, leaded by director and producer Anca Damian: DSG studio animators - Dragoş Ştefan, Dan Panaitescu, Raluca Popa, Tuliu Olteanu, Roxana Benţu, Andrei Saraliischi, Vlad Păşcan; protagonist - actor Vlad Ivanov, Polish co-producer Arkadiusz Wojnarowski and editor Cătălin Cristuţiu. Getting a good hand, the filmmakers welcomed the Patria audience and thanked Anim’est for hosting the national premiere of the most awaited feature.
