Erotica – The Night of Erotic Animation

Sold-out since the very first year it saucily sauntered into the schedule, Erotica – The Night of Erotic Animation returns on October 8, starting from 11 PM, at Eforie Cinematheque: a special screening meant to take audiences out of the comfort zone and explore explicit animations about pleasure, passion, and adult-only pursuits.

Curated by Jakub Spevák, the Artistic Director of Fest Anča – Slovakia’s biggest animation event – this year’s selection includes entries from the USA, Germany, Canada, Portugal, Singapore, Japan, France, Hungary, and Poland, a diverse incursion into the world of tabu topics and fetishes, all released during the past year.

Carrotica (directed by Daniel Sterlin-Altman, Germany), Shape of the Elephant (directed by Sam Kuwa, Japan), Hot and Cold (directed by Jakub Siedlecki, Poland), Vegan Mayo (directed by Luca Tóth, Hungary), She and Her Good Vibrations (directed by Sarah Cheok & Olivia Griselda, Singapore) are just some of the flicks flirting with Erotica audiences this year. The uninhibited love stories are divided into two thematic categories, with a 20-minute break in between.
