GoCritic! – Nurturing the Next Generation of Film Critics

GoCritic! is a program aimed at young film enthusiasts who want to dive into the world of film criticism and journalism. We run a training program in collaboration with the Animation Festival Network (AFN), where participants can get practical experience and learn more about the film industry.

The workshops cover everything from critical writing to understanding how film festivals work, with the goal of helping participants sharpen their skills. We also connect them with industry pros, like film journalist Vladan Petković, who shares his insights into the film world.

Participants also get a chance to publish their work on platforms like Cineuropa and Zippy Frames, which can help them reach a broader audience.

Anyone over 18 interested in film journalism is welcome to apply. We encourage people from all backgrounds to join, as we believe a variety of perspectives makes the field richer.

At GoCritic!, we aim to provide a space where emerging critics can improve their craft and connect with others who share their passion for film.
