GoCritic! opens call for Animest Bucharest and announces further workshops

As the first year of the partnership between GoCritic! and Animation Festival Network has wrapped up with a workshop at Fest Anča International Animation Festival, GoCritic! is now gearing up for the second round. 

The first upcoming festival in which GoCritic! will take part with its workshop is the Bucharest International Animated Film Festival Animest, running from 7 to 15 October, 2023. Up to six participants will be tutored by Vladan Petković, GoCritic! Head of Studies. 

The call for participants is open until 15 21 August, 2023 at this link. For any questions or additional information, prospective participants can contact gocritic@cineuropa.org. 

In 2023 and 2024, GoCritic! will take place at the following festivals. Please note that calls for participants will open approximately three months before each of the workshops. We kindly ask prospective participants to consider the various dates and apply to those festivals whose dates fit them the best.

Animateka Ljubljana, Slovenia (27 November - 3 December, 2023)
Anifilm Liberec, Czech Republic (7 - 12 May, 2024)
Animafest Zagreb, Croatia (3 - 8 June, 2024)
Fest Anča Žilina, Slovakia (25 - 30 June, 2024)
