Mouth-Full

It explores themes of sexual harassment and its haunting impact on a girl's life, society's reaction to it (or lack thereof), as well as the event itself: unpredictable, strange, and inhumane. As she boards a bus, the woman protagonist is suddenly approached by a strange figure. What seems like an "uncomfortable" moment at first will be what shapes her life permanently from that point—when she is touched without her consent, grabbed, twisted, and discarded. From that instant, her mouth becomes the site of a haunting transformation. She begins leaking a strange fluid from it, a residue of her abuser that she cannot get rid of and has to live with. The film portrays the trauma many women hold and cannot talk about, revealing the lasting impact of what is ignored by others.
