RomânăAnimest Împreună
A space to grow together through film. Animest inclusive and accessible.
Barrier-Free Access at Animest Festival
Through Animest Impreună, we offer free tickets to people with disabilities for a series of accessible film screenings as part of our festival, as well as for screenings without accessibility features.
Those who would like free tickets to screenings are asked to send an email to incluziv@animest.ro with the name of the film and the date, mentioning the accessibility feature they require. This helps us organize access as effectively as possible and provide all participants with the most pleasant experience possible.
Please note, however, that your reservation request does not automatically guarantee a seat. After reviewing your request, you will receive a message from the Animest team confirming your reservation. Below you will find details about the physical accessibility of the spaces where the Animest Festival takes place.
Seats are limited, so we encourage you to write to us as soon as possible!
The free seats offered through Animest Together are reserved for people with disabilities and, where applicable, their companions. To ensure that these seats reach the audience they are intended for, you may be asked to present a document confirming your eligibility upon arrival. The document will only be visually checked and will not be copied, photographed, or retained by the Animest team.
Accessibility of films for people with different sensory abilities
Animest offers several accessible film screenings with
- audio description (through the cinema's wireless headphones or via a mobile app)
- Romanian descriptive subtitles
- Romanian Sign Language interpretation
These tools allow deaf and blind audience members to enjoy films in the most pleasant and high-quality way possible, at the same time and in the same screening room as sighted and hearing audience members.
Please check the specifications for accessible films to make sure they are adapted to your needs or preferences. For questions or suggestions, we look forward to hearing from you at incluziv@animest.ro
