Trippy Animation Night — Vol.11: The Night of the Uncharted Urban Labyrinth

Calling all avantgarde cinema aficionados! During the first weekend of the Animest International Animation Film Festival, on October 5, starting at 11.30 PM, at the Eforie Cinematheque, we’re screening a special selection of animations collected by Michael Helmerhorst, event host and curator of out-of-the-box stories. 
Michael combined his own analogue footage with images from the internet’s deepest, strangest corners to create his trademark eccentric, psychotronic art, this year divided into chapters: Far Horizons, Masquerades, Grand Guignol, Found Footage, Loops & Droodles, Bad Trips & Pipe Dreams, Urban Autographs, and The Many Faces of Mickey Mouse – in other words, a cinematographic labyrinth depicting new dimensions of the urban space. 
Already in its 11th year, Trippy Animation Night is sure to captivate audiences with its selection, evoking a bizarre, nonlinear and atypical universe that will only be screened this one night.
